Wow just wow The Strokes really brought the goods at Reading, they had a hard act to follow after Pulp went down a storm but I felt like they really upped their game and the highlight for me was a duet with dear old Jarvis Cocker

    Weren’t Julian and Jarvis rumoured to have formed a secret band called “Diff’rent Strokes”? Was that even real? I remember Jarvis watching Strokes set many, many festivals ago.

    Hi! Now that YouTube allows you to upload more than one hour vids, I noted there is currently no Strokes complete show like a lot of other bands have. So, if you captured the whole set, wouldn’t this be a good chance to uploaded it as one long video? It was also one of the best Strokes performance in times , so i think it would real cool to put it on the web exactly as it was broadcasted on tv. Just a suggest. Thank you for the web, i always read it.

    Diff’rent Strokes was real it was a cover band, I remember hearing rumours Jack White might have been behind it I don’t think it was ever revealed. Anyway you can hear the EP here its amusing http://www.mediafire.com/?iekt1j2tdd2
