Its not often we get official lyrics for Julian penned songs but my copy of Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories turned up today and I was delighted to see the lyrics for Instant Crush were included! It is such a wonderful song and reading the lyrics makes me adore it even more.

Things are quiet still with The Strokes but a track some of us have been anticipating for the last month or so is Julian Casablancas song with Daft Punk. Instant Crush is beautiful, Julian has some serious 80s vocals going on but somehow still manages to sound full of longing and sadness.
