The video for new single Taken For A Fool is finally here it was directed by Laurent Briet and has some really cool special effects. Also has a lot of footage of the guys messing around and generally being adorable. Nikolai/Julian prom pose? Best thing ever.

Taken For A Fool is now available to download, the b-side is sadly not a new song but TFAF performed at Madison Square Garden with Elvis Costello

The 7″ comes out on July 26, you can pre-order the vinyl on the official store or Amazon.Com for those outside of the US

The Strokes played Le Grand Journal live at Cannes tonight, nice seeing the band playing with the sea in the background and the sun slowly setting.

The Strokes played what sounded like an epic concert at Madison Square Garden. Not only was the set list amazing but Elvis Costello joined them for Taken For A Fool, Albert played keyboards on Games, they played songs like Ask Me Anything which I thought we might not hear again. Judging from the fan reports it was an amazing show worthy of such an legendary and massive venue.
